If Chrysalis wants to get revenge on Starlight, the best she can do is destroy the things Starlight worked for in the past 2 seasons. She can manipulate Starlight by using Sunburst’s influence into ruining all the friendships she’s made in the past. Sunburst is probably the only character Starlight will never try to cross, disrespect or even divisively trick.
 
There’s also a few more implications that could be bounced around. Like how Starlight’s magic is affected by her feelings. Imagine if Chrysalis confuses Starlight’s feelings when Starlight finds herself being asked out on a date by her childhood friend. Her magic starts to fail. Or her childhood friend suddenly spending more time with her best friend, Trixie or her mentor Twilight. WHo knows how jealousy would affect her magic. And of course there’s the idea that changelings feed off of the love meant for the pony they replace. That’s another can of worms all together.

“To get close to you, of course, my nemesis,” Chrysalis hisses, approaching the cowering Starlight and lifting her chin with a hoof. “I don’t know who this ‘Sunburst’ is, but the sheer love that comes from you whenever you lay eyes on him is just delicious.” She stands tall. “I haven’t tasted love this strong since the pitiful Guard Captain and his Princess,” she spits.

How to break Starlight, 101. 
If I were to write the season finale of Chryssy’s revenge, it would involve Chryssy further damaging Starlight’s reputation through deception and lies, capping it off with something like this involving Sunburst. 
(Of course, all is happy in the end, but it would be pretty hard stuff)

This isn’t a spoiler since something like this happening is just speculation so far.
