Goth Hippie Nerd Pony
My favorite part of this scene is the surrounding countryside, 
especially the detailed waterfall to the right and the river valley to the left.
 
Canterlot itself looks amazing too, of course.

I agree that the airship in the trailer looked like shit, but honestly there is no other way to do huge parallax scrolling scenes like this and make Canterlot look real enough to believe than use CG. At least the characters are hand drawn.

It’s pretty much confirmed now that ponies can easily survive an impact at terminal velocity, so a tumble down a cliff face is likely to result in a few broken limbs at worse. They likely have a pegasi to airlift to hospital anyone stupid enough to get too careless around the edge.

I noticed in the trailer that they only showed off Canterlot appearing in this movie & didn’t show off other places from the show like Ponyville, Sweet apple acres or Cloudsdale, which kind of makes me think that those places won’t be appearing in this film, nor will it be mentioned, which I’ll be ok with if that’s the case.
