Here’s a headcannon fact: Ponies are able to speak in sentences of 6 words around the age of 8 months. But Flurry is a prodigy, speaking since 4 months.

Maybe, but wouldn’t they sound kind of like actual babies? Remember that the Rugrats talked normally, but they still had childish voices and lisps.

This got me thinking. If Angelica can talk to the babies and the grown-ups, wouldn’t that mean the babies can talk to the grown-ups if they wanted to? Or is it like Toy Story where they aren’t allowed to speak to them due to a “rule” that they must follow?

Technically I think they’re supposed to be toddlers like the Cake Twins (as evidenced by the lack of diapers), but yeah that was questionable. Probably just the Apple siblings imaging what their parents must’ve sounded like even as babies.
