Because cartoon characters always wear their iconic outfit. But it would be nice if characters in shows did wear different outfits too.
I actually took a stroll through the artists tag, they do pretty good at drawing humans, I always appreciate whenever someone does really well at coming up with original outfits for characters to wear when they aren’t at school.
I don’t really like it when a character Always wears their primary outfits as seen in the show. “The character was shown wearing this in EQG so I will draw them wearing the same outfit in over 300 images because show accuracy!”

Well, I think this image is really cute. Also, Shimmer + glasses = surprisingly attractive and endearing for me.
Before we all start building landing strips for Martians, let’s get back to the image, ok? I for one find the composition absolutely beautiful. The eye-catching energy in their grasped hands, yet the stability and balance of both figures, with the brilliant flag behind, is a masters class in motion.
