I know right, sadly I’m only good with ideas. I’m way too lazy and unmotivated to create something with them.
Gee. Now that is something worth of a story i’d say
New headcannon, they have a son and named him Swirling Stars, he becomes a very talented wizard at a young age and for a magical incident he gets sent back in time more than 1000 years in the past… and I think that you might know where I’m going on from here… let’s just say that his names get changed a little bit on the records, he gets to meet young Princesses Celestia and Luna and he tends to not shave his beard… like ever
If i where to made a offspring oc of them, it wouldn’t act nerdy as sunburst or crazy like starlight. I would actualy make him/her a super inteligent wizard. So inteligent in fact that he/she would creat his/her own spells book. But he/she would still be cool and funny instead of the nerd stereotype and having sense of what he/she is doing. Someone you would love to hang out with

According to Lauren Faust on Twitter, Trixie also attended Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns; for Friendship is Magic Issue 40, Ted Anderson “had a line in an earlier version of the script in which Celestia greeted Trixie by name (”Welcome, Miss Lulamoon!”), but that was rejected by Hasbro, on the grounds that Trixie never went to the School for Gifted Unicorns”, and Brenda Hickey—remembering Faust’s statement and unaware of the rejection at the time—put Trixie in without being given any notes from Hasbro.

And I just had a thought: Does every Sunburst picture get the messy mane tag? Because the poor guy seems to have never heard of a hair brush.
Their main target are little girls. Little girls don’t care about anything, they just want ponies doing ponies things
If Hasbro wants them to, DHX will follow. I remember reading a fact about Trixie going to Celestia’s School for the gifted unicrons. Lauren Faust said, Trixie went to Celestia’s school but when Hasbro said NO, the canon follows what Hasbro says. That’s why I believe its important that Hasbro knew Starlight and Sunburst’s connection even though the show isn’t giving it any attention lately.
If only the show did the same
Assuming that those official Hasbro comics is based on how Sunburst’s depicted as Flurry Heart’s care taker on the show, then yeah thats pretty cool. He’s good with kids, he’s smart, kind and he has a career as the Crystal Empire’s royal wizard. Starlight’s got a pretty good catch there.
