In the episode The Manger Babies become really popular and Luanne let’s it get to her head. Meanwhile Dale writes a story for a kid’s show which Luanne steals when sales of the Manger Babies DVDs go down. So Dale gets revenge by throwing the Manger Babies in a washing machine to destroy them.

Some plushies would get their eyes torn off or even get ripped apart themselves from the washing machine. The latter was referenced on King of the Hill. It’s how the Manger Babies died.
