That is true - you did not. That is why you didn’t receive a PM from anyone on staff. But sometimes when a comment has been deleted for breaking a rule, we delete replies to the comments as well, so that it doesn’t detract from conversations about the image.
 
Also, if you want to talk with someone on staff about something, please use PMs or come to ~~help in IRC ~~ talking about things like this on image threads can quickly derail the comments, and that’s not fair to the artists. (also - I only just happened to see your reply because I like this image - normally your reply would be missed because we don’t subscribe to every image we have to work on)
