was it done using fey magic? he didn’t recognize the voices that reformed his body, so it wasn’t his evil ex-girlfriends.
I wonder if the fey were just capitalizing on something greater than themselves. perhaps h.b. is part of their plan to claim it as their own.

Remember, it was done using Fey magic, which from almost every story with it, runs in a manner different to the traditional magic of said story. So it could possibly just be molding magic.
I agree with the cutie mark being probably the only method of breaking the curse. Unless the Elements of Harmony could be used (though I am not certain on that one).
that would kill anyone biologically, so some transformational shenanigans had to occur. how much, I couldn’t tell you. I haven’t caught up on the stories tbh, but I think becoming a real pony might be her only hope. I don’t know what else could get rid of that curse, other than… a cutie mark.
From what I can figure, when H.B. became a pony, it was by being molded into the shape of one, not being transformed into one. So the body would technically still be the male human “Tony”, and not an actual pony.
Of course, this is Just a Theory, a Derpi(booru) Theory!

a doctor who specializes in curses, or possibly in exotic lifeforms, because heartbreak might have been made to look like a pony, but it seems dodgy to assume that she is one.
heck, she might not even be genetically female. like she has turner’s syndrome or something.
She’s fine with it. Whether or not it’s a ‘good’ thing is debatable and would need a doctor to determine.
That however is creeping towards an area of conversation that a) I’m not terribly comfortable with, and b) isn’t allowed on a drawing marked safe.

It isn’t that she doesn’t experience happiness, it’s that she’s not experiencing arousal.
In that regard and part of her anatomy, there’s no feeling.
That’s the best I can explain it.

I was just paying more attention to the thunder cloud tea and didn’t notice the brand. but yeah, she can’t feel happiness, so smiling would have to be a deception.
