In addition there are much easier ways to get meticulous as it is typically a Generosity effect. Which explains its much higher cost here as it is Loyalty/Magic. Sort of how Deathtouch in MtG is more expensive on a non-black card, haste is rare outside red, and blue has cheaper scrying.

The color requirement here is a bit more stringent than it would be in other games. You need 2 power in blue and 2 in purple. But you only get one color to start, and to get the other you need to play Friends that don’t require their own color (“entry” Friends). Problem is, most of those Friends are only worth 1, IIRC, so you need to play another Friend of that color to get up to 2. Long story short, you’re not gonna see this until midgame.
