The point is they have similar colors, but not identical. Plus, Timber and Gloriosa’s great grandparents have green, browns, and pinks in their designs. Who else has green, brown, and pink in his color scheme? Canter Zoom (His eyes are a pinkish brown, leave me alone).

These exist, sure, but there are too many exceptions to consider such a connection mandatory. Really, saying two characters must be related because they have similar colors is no different from claiming that two characters must be in a relationship because they once spent 2 seconds of screentime in the same location.  
That said, seeing how popular shipping is in this fandom, I’m not even sure anymore why these family-relationship headcanons still seem so weird to me.
