No, the spoiler is that the movie will use freeze-frames only mildly animated with editing software.
What delay? AFAIK the movie was always scheduled to come out sometime late in 2017.
@Twilatron217
It’s probably going to lose money at the box office, yes, but if it sells enough toys to make up for it Hasbro will be more than happy.
Technically, it’s just this facebook post with moving images. Not really a teaser, but a reminder that the movie IS coming.
He doesn’t look that bright going by his profile pic XD
I may be wrong but my inner doomsaying old man is sending warnings.
It’s probably going to surprise us and make a shit tonne
Which I hope it does.
Lordy lordy lordy…
Oh great, he’s doing it again.
Call me mister doom and gloom but I can’t be the only one who thinks this movie is going to flop tremendously, even though it’s probably going to be good.
I really hope it’s just them. Between the delay/trickle of information it feels like writing on the wall this will be a dud.
The second one wasn’t a trailer or a teaser though
it’s obviously a promotion or motion poster
The trailer will possibly be coming in June or July
Oh, so Tim Duffus is being a blind, whining baby. X3
If you count the announcement one it is two.
That one only showed text and the logo, the first teaser showed ponies.
And it’s not always easy to find announcement trailer because they tend to be nothing worth nothing, some music, maybe a sound effect or two, then text saying about when it’s coming and a logo/title that isn’t the final version.
You can take a single screen shot from them, the point when the logo in on screen, and it has the same effect.
Edited
That was an announcement trailer
True, but they did have a lot of success this year with La La Land, John Wick, and Moonlight (yes la la Land and John Wick were from Summit entertainment but it’s a lion state company and Moonlight is A24 but Lionsgate was the American distributor for the film) also Lionsgate really kicked it at the Oscars, just be glad that they are giving the crew complete creative control and not doing anything to change it.
That’s not really the same thing as the first, you might as well count every teaser we have, not just videos but still images if e are going to put it on the same level.
First trailer was animation but it was horribly compressed till it actually made one of the animators legit sad.
And yeah, the second one was just mildly edited crops of the images taken from the posters.
Like come on mate.
