I agree, Nightmare Star looks better. Daybreaker being an orange-tinted Celestia was kind of lame. The fire mane and the eyes were cool though.
When background ponies stop acting entitled. The show design is honestly not going to look as good as this one in anthro form, anyway. No huge loss if it’s never made.

There are roughly eleventy two fan made interpretations of Evil Celestia, even before Nightmare Star, not everypony is going to remake their fan art of Solar Flare, Nightmare Star, Solaris, Corona, Dayman AAA-AAA-AAAAA, Sundowner, et cetera, just because of Daybreaker’s official debut… Some will, though, I’d not worry. ^w^

Poor, poor Twilight…
Look at how Twilight’s arms and shoulders are. She’s slumped like that on the floor, her body doesn’t have to be strictly vertical. There’s definitely no portals involved (i be the commissioners husband)

Twilight is laying on her tummy under the table. Celestia is sitting down with her legs outstreached. Her size difference to twi makes it easy to reach her head.
