Is not by chance that, in all the Marvel universe, with hundresds of superpowers, teleport comes only in three forms: personal, personal with the objects one is touching, or opening fixed portals. None is capable to teleport at will the objects he only sees, cause this is clearly overpowering a character. IE, the final fight in “Daring Don’t” wouldn’t have sense had Twilight had such an ability, or the ability to turn any object, or living thing, into teacups, or orages (that’s already nearly reality warping). Fortunately MLP characters conveniently forget about the abilities they have when the plot requires it.

Are we going to have people calling her OP if she gets training then?

In this episode Trixie is even TOO GOOD at magic. She effortlessly (she only needs an advice) learns a spell that was tough even for Twilight in “Too Many Pinkie Pies”, and teleports heavy objcts without control (in all the seasons so far, Twilight only once teleports something that’s not herself, or linked to herself). She gives the impression that, with only a little training, she can become a second Starlight ability-wise.

well in the mirror world she is a princess alicorn… all she needed was a good tutor like Sombra.

She’s got the magic I bet, but not the knowhow on how to go about using it. Thanks to Glim Glam we’ll probably end up with an Alicorn Trixie by the seaosn finale just to spite Twilight Sparkle. XD

Any unicorn who isn’t bad at magic is theoretically overpowered but the plot will make them lose their abilities so that they aren’t. Trixie has the excuse of being poorly trained for suddenly not being able to do certain things.

After trying to turn everything into teacups and making the castle’s map disappear, she’s not that bad anymore.

Trixie isn’t bad at magic at all, she’s poorly trained and her own ego holds her back but the last episode made it clear she really does have latent potential well above the average unicorn.

Poorly trained maybe, but this episode makes it clear she has the power and potential should she apply herself.
 
Also worth noting is that Trixie did in fact offer to share her nuts, before Starlight shut her down.

I mean, she managed to teleport a table made out of the elements of harmony themselves on her first day, see if any unicorn can do that… I actually think that the show will go with Trixie getting better and better and being pretty awesome level by the end of the season… after all Trixie is studying and you do get rewarded by studying.

She also has a fallback job as a china salesmare should she ever want/need to retire from the whole stage magician gig.

Trixie is good at magic, she just never had a teacher.
 
Heck, in the span of one episode she learned to transmutate matter, create life, and teleport large objects.
