That older brother: Where you going? Gonna go screw more ponies?

That granny: love is love blah blah

Kick: yeah yeah now turn around and bend over, old gravy.

I haven’t drawn much Kick Buttowski lately and I’m really starting to like Granny Smith from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Applejack, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom are so lucky to have a grandma like her; she reminds me of my grandmother.

If there’s one thing that’s sweeter than the juicy bite of a fresh-picked apple, it’s the tender loving words of an elderly loved one.

I imagined what Ponyville is like for someone like Kick, and despite being so hardcore and living to the extreme, he enjoys the light, bubbly town full of ponies that take things with a cup of sugar.

And he loves the Apple family, especially Granny Smith, whom he looks up to like she’s his grandma.

In this picture:

Another day of being a suburban daredevil, another stunt becoming a success, Kick packs a few things in his backpack so he can visit Ponyville and all his pony friends.

Brad, being a jerk as usual, gives him the usual insults. This time, he calls Kick the world’s girliest daredevil because he likes hanging out with girly ponies.

Now Brad likes to insult the ponies, but he wouldn’t DARE insult them in their presence. He’s actually afraid of them, because ponies like Rainbow Dash look like they can kick some serious butt.

Kick takes the insults in as usual, though this kind of insult sort of hits him a bit, and he’s honestly a little pissed off.

Having arrived in Ponyville, and during farmer’s market, he meets Granny Smith at her apple cart and tells her what Brad said to him, accepting free apples Granny Smith usually saves for him when he come visits.

Though Granny’s old, she can understand what kind of person Brad is, and that Kick is three times the man Brad could ever be.

She is right, and that’s another reason why Kick loves her.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Granny Smith seems have all her marbles in this universe.

Far and away from her characterization of being the lovably eccentric old timer with bouts of lucidity.
