I know I really like them. Just regular cute slice of life would get boring if it didn’t have other things to spice it up.
I do as well. It isn’t that bad, and does lead to places instead of just there, and makes the adorable moments taste sweeter.

Fully agreed. It’s very much shit and it never worked or entertained me.
I follow this kind of thing for adorkableness and funny and not needless drama or political bullshit.

First of all, the original political take over was not canon. They have said so before. It was just for fun. So the only thing that is “Real” is the media people and Twi’s love interest in Greg. Autumn Summer has shown kindness and respect to Twi and Greg. She didn’t help out the mysterious figure in the car who wanted dirt on Twi. She returned the books (except this one) to Greg when he misplaced Twi’s fan fiction, and she is kind and caring and respectful whenever she talks to Greg and others. She also doesn’t like Javan, who appears to be kind of the real bad guy in the short 3 episodes we saw him.
Name me one quality she has shown besides “smug bitch who steals things from people because DA SCOOP LOL FUK DA MEDIA”. Besides, this is less “expanding the world” and more “bolting on a random American knockoff political and social structure to a preexisting monarchal magic universe even though those two ideas go together like ice cream and salsa.”

Plus I can’t even muster up the interest in the Media and Political ponies which apparently exist in this universe to consider them good villains. They’re fucking cockroaches to a man, and the only reason they don’t get imprisoned on the moon is because they have plot armor set to maximum. They make everyone look like idiots because the story says so.
Like, what is the point? That media people and politicians suck? That apparently journalists in a monarchal setting are invincible?
Basically, all I’m saying is this. Autumn Summer is not interesting. She is not even a good villain. She is a smug bitch who is a waste of time, effort, and lines, and the world would be a better place if she just disappeared. Same with all this Metal Gear Lite stuff that keeps cropping up on this blog.
