E liquid is not water vapor. It is an atomized mixture of vegetable glycerin and propylene glycol, the former of which you’re breathing every time you visit a hospital and the latter of which is used in inhalers for all intents and purposes to carry the medicine. Flavoring makes up an incredibly small percentage, and the nicotine usually less than 1%. Secondhand vapor is proven to be completely harmless by the same people behind many bans of ecig use in public spaces, but there is this thing called courtesy that dictates you at least ASK before hazing out a room. It’s not hard.

I’m well aware that actually smoking things, cigarettes or anything alike, is bad for you. I don’t smoke myself, but I’ve seen people destroy themselves by doing so.
 
As for it not being illegal, I ask again, what about Ecigs? Outside of the nicotine you inhale, the exhaled fumes are just water vapour, but again, they follow the same laws. What makes these little pipe things any better.
 
Also putting ^{”[citation needed]”} at the end of the cigarette claim only proves you’re talking out of your ass. Outside of personal anecdotes, I have any citation because I really don’t give a shit.

Besides “A person who follows the latest trends and fashions, especially those regarded as being outside the cultural mainstream.” That’s the definition of hipster, and Vaping is still far from a cultural mainstream and is proving itself to be quite ‘trendy.’ Therefore my hipster argument is valid.

Just because it’s not illegal to vape in public, does not mean people are allowed to blow vapour at others. Doing that is dickish, and probably criminal if done to an asthmatic. It really is a very different thing.
 
Health wise, you’d have to only ever vape instead of breathing in order to get the same damage smoking gives you if you smoked twice a day ^{[citation needed]}. Or put gasolene in your vapouriser. Because Tobacco is unhealthy beyond reason, it takes effort to match it in any single area, which vapes currently have not. You can say vaping is unhealthy, but you can not sensibly say it’s ever as bad as smoking.
 
Also it’s 2017. It’s not a hipster thing anymore, that’s just a meme now. Vaping is for people trying to get off of cigarettes, or that are trying to reduce their bills.

Even if it’s just water vapour, as I said before, an asthmatic doesn’t give a shit as it can still cause them issues with breathing. (Admittingly, it’s not always, asthmatics have different triggers to different things.)
 
Edit: I should also note: Ecigs, which release only water vapour as well, follow the same laws as cigarettes, what makes these “Vape” pipes(?) special?

No it’s water mixed with the additive you put in it.  
Sure it less toxic than cigarettes (depends on the additive but they are pretty rare depending on the country your in) but it’s still a “soft” drug.

I don’t agree on that, they are much much less problematic than cigarettes, laws should be at least be more permissive on them.  
I don’t say let it be used everywhere, lets be smart about it, for example it shouldn’t be used in hospitals, maternity hospitals, schools, high schools, colleges or gas stations (or other flammable place).

I’m not saying that’s like an asthma inhaler, by any means. And we still have zero substantial research on the actual health effects of vaping.

You cannot compare asthma medication to vaping.
 
Asthmatic medication is almost entirely to keep them breathing.  
Vaping is nothing more than a recreational smog, and thus should follow the same laws as other, legal, recreational smoking.
 
Take away the asthmatic’s steamer, and they could die.  
Tell a vaper they cannot vape inside a public building because it’s rude, they lose nothing outside of hipster-comfort-points.

I’m usually pretty skeptical because usually after the glamour of it wears off, we find whatever in question is just as bad (if not worse) for you as smoking.
 
E-Cigs, Vaping, all of them should have to follow the same smoking laws as cigarettes. Because, outside of second-hand smoke, they all have the same effect. The person trying to eat his lunch doesn’t care that is “just water vapor bro!” He has Asthma and you just blew a fucking torrent of smoke at him.

I know that vaping is supposed to be less harmful than smoking, but I honestly find it far more repulsive. Even outdoors, those billowing clouds seem to linger forever.
