it’s cause it’s animated. you’ll notice the one animated image trombony has is the #7 top scoring image on the entire site, and 8 of the 10 top scoring images are animated
 
still 3d images are a dime a dozen, so even really high quality ones kinda get lost in the mix. but animated 3d images? those stand out a lot more.

I’m surprised my animations have consistently stuck at the top of trending here… I mean, I know I can animate pretty well and all, but I’m surprised so many people like what they are seeing this early on. Like, look up “artist:trombonyponypie”. He’s a guy that REALLY knows how to use Blender to create absolutely gorgeous renders. I’d say he’s even the best at it in the MLP community. I should not be exceeding him.
