Alright, thanks for the explanation. Sometimes, trickery (though not manipulation and domination) is a suitable course of action to escape or defeat enemies.
Perhaps “inner strength” refers to her not being a doormat, but perhaps being willing enough to defend her loved ones. Or maybe, in her occasional moments of being brave enough to risk herself to protect her friends.

a farcevery selective and fragile and I don’t understand precisely what they mean by inner strength.I assume it’s some strength of character and persistence in her ways which would include kindness, but she doesn’t have that either.

Care to explain? Sometimes action is necessary, on those days when you face enemies who will never be convinced by any kindness, or anything – the sort who wants others dead or tortured for any sort of reason.
Kindness to virtually everyone may help others be better, but may leave you a victim to some people, whose intention is nothing but abuse. That is why defence and force are sometimes necessary, so you do not have to suffer from their aggression.
