Sorry, I wasn’t refering to you when I mentioned “people complaining.” Chill.
I’m not complaining about fosgitt. I Even said he was good, and If he’s cut down on the biped crap, even better!
I was describing the differences I see in fosgitts art and the art I’ve seen in this comic so far.
Sheesh.
Actually, Fosgitt’s cut down on the bipedal poses if you look at his more recent issues. Heck, the latest one, only has one panel (at least on this site) featuring it. So it’s kinda odd people here are still complaining about that.
Also, I’ve seen other comic artists & fanartists do bipedal poses too, and they never get complaints. I even saw Andy Price do it recently too.
Eh, from the pages I’ve seen of this comic so far they’re only bipedal when they’re performing or doing a job that requires them to be bipedal, like that taxi driver lifting rarity’s luggage. And at least they still look like horses when the do it.
When fosgitt does bipedal ponies, they tend to look like bizzare smurf/pony hybrids and they go bipedal all the freaking time even when there’s no reason to.
Speaking of bipeds, looks like this issue will have plenty.
And Trixie’s front leg is much smaller than her back leg.
Sapphire’s neck looks wrong too and Trixie is standing bipedal holding her hat like she is trying to hide something.
Not really. Fosgitt can be pretty good when he remembers to Draw backgrounds.
I will always prefer my ponies to be quadrupeds though, not bipeds.
