it’s nothing but a lousy buzzword for something I don’t like.
a character being shown in realistic pain will be cringeworthy. the only way something that’s just bad could be cringeworthy is if there was something questionable happening behind the scenes(jared shapiro ppg 2016)
The internet is totally ruining the term “cringe” for me honestly.
Saying your cringe sensors were going off means nothing
Don’t know I only said the begin just to see if it was true about how he was reviewing it. I found out about it in a video about the backlash(after the movie came out)
I’m guessing he didn’t comment much on the visuals then.
I remember someone did a review of the Ghostbusters reboot based entirely on a transcript he was sent.
I guess reading that was easier than just watching the movie

Yeah, I don’t get why any fans would rather read about the show then actually experience it for themselves.
Plus, they don’t convey the humor or emotions of the show well in synopsis, transcripts, and such.
It’s like what the Joker said, if you explain the joke, then there is no joke.
Well technically all of Equestria includes ponyville
And even some cases they can be get details wrong.
what about discord? Says that Twilight was returning from canterlot but she never left ponyville in the actual episode, the times they are a changeling said that Twilight was returning to the crystal empire with a sunburst.
Heck I remember where is the movie the actual synopsis that they put on the blu ray box says that ponyville was being threatened and not all of Equestria and that’s they were only going to the ends of Equestria
Reading synopsises aren’t quite the same as watching the actual show, they tend to leave alot of the entertainment value out.
I think it’s moreso to show that even though apples are their main crop, they do grow other stuff. I say watch it, since it’s not as bad as you fear.

It was OK, though the relevant part is that at the end, they said that the carrot field was theirs.
Nah I skipped over that one, my cringe sensors were going off when I read the synopsis…
I tend to not enjoy Apple or Spike themed episodes…

Seen the ep where AJ tries to trap a mythical creature?
I just wish it was one of the things the show actually touched upon.
You see that carrot stylized house in the background of the apple farm every now and then,
But no one in the show ever acknowledges it…
Maybe Carrot-Top/Golden Harvest is a squatter on their farm.
I wonder if anyone ever figured out what was up with that carrot building on the sweet Apple acres farm…

I always thought about that, with there being that one carrot building right on the Apple Family property. Even being a Sweet Apple Acres shop in the Gameloft app.

Well, there was also the “Carrot being a farming rival to Applejack” gag the fans came up with too.
Now that you mention it, I’d kinda like that one back too. Particularly since that’s kinda the only thing the fandom ever really did with Carrot.
