I have to disagree. The pace was deliberate and timed to show the desperation that Spike was feeling. I can’t but help that it fits well for this kind of story.
 
If you feel that the pacing was off, what would you have cut to make it work? What story elements would you have rejected?

This comic has pacing problems. 24 pages in–the length of a retail comic book–and barely anything has happened.
