Yes but it’s just a misconception since usually everyone is swapped but it is never a neccessity. There’s a whole series of Butterscotch comics where rest is kept in their original gender and Mane6, Princesses and even Cheerilee is trying to get laid with him. I think only Discord is turned into Eris as well.
