There is a certain fun to be had in gently ribbing at the more silly and weird parts of people whom you’re on good terms with, and with whom you know that at the end of the day, you don’t REALLY hold it against them, or think less of them for it, it just gets a giggle out of people. On a deeper sense, ASSUMING everyone involved is just teasing and doesn’t actually mean anything by it, there’s a sense of desensitization gained when people tease or prank you, and everything is fine after. The world doesn’t end, you keep living, and you toughen up a bit, with a minimum of pain because you know the people involved don’t actually hate you.
 
Really cruel mockery is another thing ideally. But sometimes, not avoidable, you have to either get strong or be miserable. But that’s an entirely different subject.
