except…Red Pill guys rage almost as hard as their blue counterpart, and these days they get increasingly misogynistic. Just go visit the redpill subreddit and MGTOW subreddit and you’ll see. Also red pill guys can also be seen as truthers and you know they don’t listen to reason.

From my browsing 4chan, I gather that “blue pilled” is the term for being brainwashed by the strict orthodoxy of “social justice warriors”, while “red pilled” means you’ve liberated yourself from SJW thinking. Pre-reform Starlight Glimmer is often compared to SJWs, considering her insistence on blind obedience to her notions of “equality”. Thus, she’s the “blue pilled” version. Post-reform Starlight was liberated from that kind of obsession with control, so she’s the “red pilled” version.

well, blue pilled represents a “delusional, sleeping” state. Blind to reality and so simply believing that everything is going to be ok. Whereas red pilled represents a “woke” state where you realize the world is all messed up and you want to fix it (but you pretty much can’t.)
