I remember getting up when i was 18 to watch this. Best times! xDD
HHAAMTAAROO!!!
I remember getting up at 4am when I was like, 8, to watch those.
Good times.
hamster tails are at a weird angle. it’d look kinda like that if you had a hamster in that pose. || also, their genitals would be facing upwards in that position due to their anatomy, meaning that would (or should) look more like a pair of testicles if that was what was intended.||
It certainly doesn’t LOOK like a tail, considering it’s between the hamster’s back legs on it’s front (unless that hamster is doing a Regan MacNeil from The Exorcist 360 head turn.
The name ‘hamster’ is a loanword from the German, which itself derives from earlier Middle High German hamastra. It is possibly related to Old Church Slavonic khomestoru, which is either a blend of the root of Russian хомяк (khomyak) ‘hamster’ and a Baltic word (cf. Lithuanian staras ‘hamster’) or of Persian origin (cf. Av hamaēstar ‘oppressor’)

the hamster dance always annoyed me, not because it gave me a headache, or anything, but rather because it is just the opening song from Disney’s robin hood, sped up, and nobody else ever seems to notice
No, actually, I was insulting you for leaping to ridiculous conclusions about hypothetical moralistic boogeymen in our midst. I suppose that could have been clearer, but Rule #0, y’know.
…is the Hamster Dance still on the Internets? Google for it if you don’t know what it is. Or was.
Well, until one of them shows up proper, the closest thing to a hysterical hypersensitive lunatic we have here seems to be… you :P
But the best way to demonstrate a rule isn’t sensible is to apply and enforce it indiscriminately.
Case in point, the topic at hand…
Also, “sensible” is a relative concept and yes, I guaran-goddamn-tee there are
hysterical hypersensitive lunaticspeople out there who absolutely would want to hide this from children because of that one X.Because of course there are; never, ever, underestimate the power and extent of human stupidity and/or insanity.
’Scuse me while I work out, gotta run on my wheel! Wheeee! :D
When you’re left with the two choices of:
Follow the rules
Be sensible
Then you know, something’s gone wrong. Hypothetically is there anyone that’d feel wrong showing this to a child? If not, then it’s safe.
