I think I had the opposite process with creating my OC.
I started out with the name. Obviously it bills me as a proud deviant, like a kid that parents about the neighborhood would call a “bad seed.” Then I decided that in light of the word “seed,” and to make things all the more rebellious, the character should be a sperm, and then to make it look evil, I made it black and gave it a green eye.
So the eye was the last thing I did.
