to be fair….as far as a range of motions that cartoon ponies can do this is pretty tame. and that particular range of motion is technically possible….albeit not really doable with regular horses as they cant fly LOL

You know, for an animal that naturally kicks backwards, doing a drop-kick like this looks really awkward. I really wish the animators were more consistent about having ponies move like ponies.

This picture (in this specific case) cannot have the artist tag, since a simple copy-paste-upload process of an existing thing cannot be considered a piece of art without further modification (aka edit) thus cannot have an “artist” tag.
 
On the other hand, taking a photo does carry an artistic merit, thus can have an artist tag.

That is where you seem to not understand the use of the artist tag.  
If you are not taking credit for this, and I don’t mean the gif, it’s a screencap of the show so that is what the art is is counted as the art, the show, then you do not tag yourself as the artist as that implies the credit is to you, not the show’s staff.  
This is the ruling the admins have had on the subject for a long time.  
Unless you do a major edit of a screencap you keep your artist tag off of it.

I can see your point on this but I am not taking credit for anything other than creating said animated gif and the one who uploaded it. If you are so concerned about such things you can talk to Administration and I will remove my tag on it instead.

One can get away with that, they did take the photo and photoautotroph is seen as art(it’s how the mods do it, I don’t know why), but a screencap(still or animated) with no edits at all are still counted as being from the show, and to tag one’s self the artist of the show is wrong and disrespectful to the staff of the show.

You can’t tag yourself the artist of unedited screencaps from the show.
