Description
A fixed version of my previous card, which was met with little enthusiasm (and with good reason–don’t know what I was thinking). Hopefully this version is more fair.
Ah Fair then.
Then compare it to Eldrazi Monument. The Limitation on that is considerable, But its also colorless, it anthems and it gives evasion for your team on top of it being indestructible. Which is actually a closer to this card given that is basically how regenerate works. And you are ignoring the fact that everything else on it make that card really strong as well. But you’d be hard pressed to find someone that thinks ole mikey over there is overpowered. And neither is this card. If anything I’d argue its right on curve. It doesnt protect what is already around, Its got are fairly significant color req. 3B and 2BB are very different. And it makes your creatures a little harder to kill. But not very. Damnnation and Wrath of God come to mind. As do Path/Swords/etc. For a 4 mana do-nothing enchantment the upside is pretty sub-par.
Yes, Mikaeus gave Undying, what is different from one regeneration per turn per creature.
Its basically a third of Mikaeus, that doesnt anthem, doesnt make creatures bigger when it procs, and isnt on a 5/5 evasive body, and it doesnt punish players for attackign you. This card is fine. Now, I while i am a little rusty on the original FOE, but i think canterlot ghouls could regenerate infinitely unless they were disintegrated or beheaded. But infinite regeneration actually is broken at that cost. adding another effect and making it 1 more mana and then its fine. But yes, ruins of canterlot would be one of the most powerful lands in the game.
@The Hittite
It would be weaker in the protection granted, but it would be stronger in the sense that it affect creatures that are already there (before playing the enchantment) and it would activate “enter the battlefield” effects again.
Anyway, if this card was meta, everyone would have ‘destroy target enchantment’ or removals with sacrifice/remove/‘can not be regenerated’ because half of the decks would use this card.
Edited
Granted, it’s not quite as strong.
