The season four DVD cover is the best of the lot though I do wish they would show more creativity than pasting a bunch of vectors over a background. Something more like >>201361 would have been amazing.
As for why Hasbro keeps using the shitty old vectors, I figure the work is assigned to some bored office drone or intern who doesn’t care and their boss doesn’t care either because it’s a kid’s show.

I just don’t GET it. The Season 4 DVD actually used totally brand new vectors that looked much better on its cover art, complete with a Twilight with wings that were actually part of the vector instead of pasted on, then later stuff went RIGHT back to the crappy old ones.
