Getting underground would work too. Most of the caves aren’t radiated.

In the Fallout universe, if you get up to 1000 rads, you’ll die.  
Dividing 1000 rads by 45 rads/sec, if this bat pony had full health before the storm, he/she would have about 22 seconds before the radiation kills her.  
Right now, his/her health is about 31% radiated, which means there would be about 692.8 rads that he/she can take before she dies.  
So, replacing 1000 rads with 693.8 and dividing it by 45 rads/sec, we would get about 15.4 seconds.
 
In conclusion, this bat pony has 15 seconds to take Rad-X, put on a hazmat suit, or learn a radiation immunity perk before his/her radioactive death.
