Just when I thought I was finally rid of George Michael

If you ask me, Timber was fine. I just wish they’d stop kicking Flash again and again. That stopped being funny a while ago.

We will see once the Equestria Girls specials come out. Whether the romance from camp Everfree was just a summer fling or an actual romance. I felt the way they displayed the romance between them was a out of the blue in some areas. Only the specials will determine where the relationship stands.

Overall Legend of Everfree is a good movie, but its biggest problem is so distracting that it usually brings people’s opinion of the movie down rather low especially if they dislike the romance in the series or ship Sci-Twi with someone else.

I haven’t seen Everfree, but from what I’ve heard, people range from “Suck it, Flash fans” to “He was good, but the romance was unnecessary”, and sadly, I don’t see much of Timber these days.

To be fair, I also think that they did worse at romance in The Legend of Everfree than they did in Equestria Girls 1.  
As much as the first one’s romance was unnecessary, The Legend of Everfree’s is the only time I feel like the romantic subplot actually dragged down the main part of the story. That & Flash & Princess Twilight’s romance in EqG1, weird as it may, actually feels less forced to me than Timber Spruce & Sci-Twi’s romance in EqG4 somehow.
 
That & Friendship games barely had romantic elements in it, just Flash’s rejection & maybe subtext which kind of shows that the series doesn’t even need to put in romantic subplots in the first place…

Timber is a jerk. Flash is way cooler.

Personally, I think he’s not that terrible a character but he has absolutely no chemistry with Twilight.
