I think Thorax would be rather a anti-Zamasu, or Zamasu’s mirror counterpart. Especially that Zamasu became a Makaioshin(fallen/demonic Kaioshin/Supreme Kai), in all but name. Gowasu even latter stated that Zamasu’s body is not only warped by his unstable fused form, but also his share negative emotions.
And Zamasu’s whole storyline, mirrors that of Xenoverse Demons(implied to be evil Shin-jin, ie species of Kais), and the Supreme Kai of Time, as one person briliantly summed up:

and spoiler tags to some particularily spoilery stuff XD
Also, Changelings stole identities, and after their trasformation, triggered by positive emotion(love), and aarently stopped to steal identities after their transformation, and Zamasu || stole a identity once he trully fallen||, and his transformation, was triggered in part, aside from fusion malfunction, due to negative emotions, ie hate, disgust, envy etc.
While Thorax saved his species, Zamasu doomed a || entire multiverse in one timeline, and would so so to all creation, if not for Zeno erasing him, along with the multiverse he absorbed, and crippled…also killed all of the Supreme Kais(ie his group), in that timeline first||…

Elsa was dressed like an elf… So, kinda. X3
I had assumed. ^w^
Well, Puck from Gargoyles, is primarliy based on Shakespeare’s Puck “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Shakespeare is one off the most importsnt inspirations in Gargoyles. All though are derived from the English folklore Puck/Robin Goodfellow/Hob.
Thorax though, I think resembles Freyr most. Freyr has antlers, and is the King of Light Elves, just like Thorax became the King of light Changelings, while the unpurified Changelings, resemble Dark Elves, especially the D&D ones.
(Freyr having antlers, is often forgot, but is an important part in Norse mythos, Freyr even fights with his antlers during Ragnarock, killing giants with them, as he surrendered his sword to win the giantess Gerd’s heart. Freyr’s sword was the most powerfull weapon in the universe(yes, more powerfull than Mjolnir and Gungir), and was prophecied to be only weapon capable to kill Surtr, the King of Fire Giants/Fire Daemons. Without his sword though, Freyr was ultimatelly killed by Surtr, and Surtr was(well, will be) free to burn the the 9 Worlds. Because of that, I think Gerd could be a part of a complex Honey Trap plan from the Giants. Compare to Samson and Delilah, especially that both Freyr and Samson were conneted to the sun.)

Cannot unsee
Well, the Changelings from folklore, was a Fae/Fairy creatures, and Puck originated in the same folklore.
Thorax ironically, resembles more Oberon in role, and the fact he has antlers(which also likens him to the Norse folklore king of Light Elves - Freyr - who has antlers, but it’s an often forgotten fact). Oberon dethroning a more evil queen of the Third Race/Fae in the Gargolyes - Mab - (this was described by Greg Wiseman) also resembles on how Thorax replaced Chrysalis as the leader of the Changelings.
