[Previous][Index][Next][Follow me on twitter?]* * Remember how Nahmat was reading history books and newspaper archives at the Ponyville Library? Remember the titles on two in particular? Even I think Nahmat’s going too far here. I just hope Luna’s counter argument is good enough for the rest of you, it’s good enough for me to conclude that Nahmat’s going overboard. * *My Little Pony (c) Hasbro,Friendship is Magic was created by and assistants.

Rest well!
True but we really don’t have any frame for Celestia outside of snapshot moments that to me feel so much like a puppet master or a politician more so then an individual.
But it’s late so I’ll agree to disagree and sleep.
Thank you for conversation.
You may. I don’t necessarily share it, but that’s just how things are, eh?
I will also say this: Celestia, in this comic here, acts far worse than she ever did in the show. And at times it feels like this is done just so the OC has more to tear into her for.
Fair enough, but her in show faults are arguably just as bad for one sitting so high on the totem pole as is, if I might state my opinion.
If you dislike her based on the comics… then we are not going to come to an agreement. The comics, to me and to the show’s writers, exist in a not-quite canon state. Take what you like, ignore what you don’t.
So you know what I’m referencing, she pied piper marched the entire changeling race into an active volcano and sealed it, and genetically scarred them to create the holes in their legs.
Add to that her torture of the Umburum from eldest to unborn, which we have little to reason as to why they attacked in the first place other then ‘they feed on darkness’ which could mean any number of things and could outright be propaganda, and It puts my mixed feelings as to Celestia’s validity squarly in the negative end of the spectrum.
Oh, the comics. Yeah, I must admit, I mostly ignore those.
I’m sorry if I hold a saint to a higher standard then a sinner, but good deeds and intentions don’t change the actions there within.
Chrysalis, as being what she is acts as she would without outside influence, and Celestias’ choice of torture rather then diplomacy during their older meeting in the comics justifies Chrysalis’s hatred as far as I’m concerned.
As for the others they sit on equal footing without any to defend them while Celestia has the blind loyalty of her people and a track record thats utterly horrible where it counts.
I don’t say Celestia’s evil, but she certainly shouldn’t have that pretty little crown and waste of marbel and gold she calls home with the risks and dangers she subjects her people to by ignorance, hers or theirs by lack of her giving information only she would have, negligence and favoritism.

Compared to who? Nahmat? Gralo? Chrysalis? I must respectfully disagree.
In general. Celestia getting called out for her actions and having a few bruises is far less then she actually deserves, compared to the majority of the entities involved.
You mean hitting her? Who said that was okay?
But Celestia gets to go farther why?
Yeah..I kind of stopped reading after this.
agreed. I love wolfie telling it like it is.
which is why the ending is soo bad.
