If I were to hazard a guess, I suspect it’s to do with how some people assume that someone who has a massive crush on, say, Lyra Heartstrings or Big Mac wouldn’t hesitate to plow a horse on the nearest farm.

Well for one, we don’t know that Flash is mentally an adult, the age regression may have altered his mind as well. Also, the mentality aspect isn’t the only reason people have a problem with having sex with children, there’s also the fact that their bodies haven’t matured, and it could harm them.

I meant by what double-think are cartoon horses put against actual horses.

Comparing screwing a real child (which is wrong) or screwing someone who is is physically a child, but has the mind of an adult. I bet most people would find that wrong, even if there is nothing in the moral logic behind the first one to actually make it wrong. Or maybe I’m mistaken, and most people wouldn’t find it wrong? Regardless, it’s fiction, so nothing is truly wrong in my eyes. It’s all just ideas, anyways.

You know, people say dating a child is wrong because of the mentality (I agree), but if said person is mentally an adult in the body of a child, most people would still say it’s wrong. Even though, by their own logic, it isn’t wrong. I find this double-think fascinating. It’s the same double-think people use when it comes to cartoon horses verses real horses.
