Universe explained in G1 transformers G.I.Joe and MLP are tied together. G.I.Joe Molly and Megan’s sister and there father show up in line for money during the cobra money take over plot. Cobra commander in a semi retirement shows up as old snake in season 3 transformers g1.
 
In g1 gijoe and transformers was on the same earth and Poland was reached by the Rainbow bridge meaning it’s in another dimension.
 
Current generation there is no reason this could not still be the case as Megan and her siblings attend Canterlot high when sunset first arrived in the comics and same comics show a book titled “who was the Megan?”  
In rainbow rocks vinyls care could easily been a transformer. So yeah…. tin foil hates down case they are connected.
