Oh boy. The meltdown they had in today’s episode would be amazing. Celestia and Cadence tearing into each other while Luna’s just “Oh, I jumped! Did you see it? Look. Guys, look. I’m jumpin’.”
If 2Snacks doesn’t do that scene, I sure hope googleygareth will.
Yeah for sure. And I know they appreciate the fans who both watch them for their content as well as 2Snacks for his. Hell, I found the Zaibatsu thanks to 2Snacks as I’m sure many others did.
We are a harmless bunch, when left to our own devices. But like any fandom we have our flaws and trouble areas, but that has teetered off significantly in recent years. While I know other areas of the internet still love to hate us, the boys at the Best Friends Zaibatsu are not in that category.
I’m pretty sure the boys think we’re an OK bunch, maybe a little weird, but certainly not any weirder than some of the shit they’ve seen at cons. With age comes a moderation in attitude, and even though they don’t watch the show or frequent our communities, I’m sure they know we’re out here and love them almost or even more than our show.
Granted there have been a couple instances of them poking fun at Bronies and the whole pony craze. Keep in mind that LP was done around the time of the real boom in popularity for MLP, when you couldn’t go anywhere on the internet without running into something being invaded by ponies.
It ruined a lot of things for a lot of people, and honestly if I was on the outside I would have been annoyed at us too. We can be very intrusive when it comes to showing our pride for a simple TV show. It gets on people’s nerves when we are shoving it in their face all the time. So to that extent, I understand why Matt made those comments years ago.
But time has passed, and I knwo the guys are so hateful or indictive about ponies that they would say they hate us now. If anything, where they asked their opinions on the fandom they’d likely say they don’t care, people are gonna like what they like, but we can be a little forward with it at times, even annoying. But they won’t say outright hate. At most they’d make a joke at our expense and be done with it.

Matt went so far as to make fun of bronies in one video of their Heavy Rain playthrough, even. The one where Madison first comes to the motel. He compared the creepy motel manager to someone who likes MLP, then he said he didn’t like the whole ponies thing because it “ruined a lot of things he liked.”

The forth one was nice, but something about it didn’t click with me, though the second one was a bit too on-the-nose or something for me.
Oh nice. I discovered them thanks to 2snacks in fact, the first TBSP video introduced me to the best friends and I’ve been a huge fan ever since.
This year’s Shitstorm intros, I think I’d have to agree that 2Snacks did the best one, but I did like the last one with Zubaz going after those teens. Real classic horror movie material.
I started watching them this year, since this is the first year I’m following them, and I’m a fan of both Best Friends and horror. The intros this year were nice, with 2Snacks (the first one) being my favorite. Yours?
I think that was most likely Pat, cause he still gets pony stuff as a joke from way back in the day. As far as I know they support TBSP and 2Snacks.
And yes, I did watch the Shitstorm this year. I’ve watched it every year, in fact. Im not really a fan of scary games (mostly cause of jumpscares) but it’s worth watching for the commentary.
I’m think I remember a video of them receiving TBSP stuff, and one member of the gang (forget which, but I don’t think it was Mat or Pat) wasn’t very happy. Also, on the topic of Best Friends Play, have you seen their Shitstorm series this year?

Wonder which video 2Snacks took from this time. The Zaibatsu have done much work since the last one, so there is plenty to use. Damn this is gonna be good.
