that sunset shimmer doll looks pretty nice by EG standars,i wouldnt mind owning her.
 
the legends of everfree line overall is a massive improvement over the friendship games dolls,im glad their outfits are very faithful to the movies.
 
much better than the old dolls that were mostly the mane 6 wearing all kinds of random junk that never appeared in the movies that totally clashed with their personalities,it took them till late 2015 to make dolls that somewhat resemble their default outfits from EG1.

They weren’t seen looking like that, but their dresses sure made it into the movie.

Rarity’s entire Plot arc in the EG movies is to sell toys; just about every outfit she makes is based on the toys. With exceptions to multiple throwaway gags, and a green outfit for Twilight in the first movie.

Naive little girls. I think the Equestria Girls Minis came into existence as an attempt to sell a EqG toyline to someone besides small girls, since collectors and custom toy hobbiest can and do buy them. I wager the latter was taken into consideration with the toy designs(how parts are removable) so they could sell multiple copies of the same Minis to people who want spare parts for their own customs…
