That literally doesn’t make it ok.  
Its like punching someone in the face and think its ok to do it to them again and again since its been done before.  
People literally keep saying “This happened to them before, nothing new” and its getting aggravating since just because the writers had the sisters easily get taken out before doesn’t make it ok to keep doing it since its bad for their characters(especially Luna’s).  
Its really not ok at all since its poor handling of characters, such as for Spike since he got robbed big time here. HE was the one who befriended Thorax, not Starlight.

Princess’s get knocked out/nabbed all the time. Chrysalis has even led Celestia before. So it’s nothing new to them. And if Celestia and Luna can have it happen to them time and time and time again, it’s really not beyond the realm of possibility that the others can too.

Still really embarrassing though.  
Especially since Luna was clearly awake all night(and if you say she was busy dream-guarding, pretty sure she will “wake up” the moment anyone tries to touch her).
 
What really bothers me is how Chrysalis was too arrogant to nab Starlight but apparently still nabbed Spike anyway.  
He really got robbed in this finale.
 
They should have shown us anyway on how they all got captured since it will feels pretty forced if they didn’t show us how they got captured. Like it felt like the whole cast got humiliated for the sake of propping up Starlight, by not showing us how they got nabbed it felt like plot just made things happen regardless of how little sense it makes if they don’t explain how it happened.

And you forget, they are not invincible. Just get everyone when they are sleeping. I’m sure they have plenty of stuff too keep ponies sedated.

How did Chrysalis and the changelings manage to capture the mane seven, the Crystal Empire family and the two sisters in a couple of minutes or hours before Starlight came back from the village?
 
Because I hardly doubt it took two or three changelings each to hold tight to them and bring them to the hive for Chrysalis to cocoon them when Twilight and the princesses can use teleportation and escape before the changeling mane seven could meet Starlight

Even though I’m not a fan of the season 6 finale, I still have one question about the finale
