actually JoJo merch are STILL rare in my country (even the known import shops rarely/ if at all carry the SAS figures. and those who DO, they’re the priciest figures for their size) one of the vendors even asking/telling me
“Maybe it’s(the franchise) not any good(because of the “lack” of merchandise)?”
so it’s quite possible that those late to the party would actually believe JJBA ripped off Persona.

they only know jojo from the 2012 onwards anime.
the type that seriously believe they ripped off persona because persona “came first”.
you’d be surprised how some people think JoJo is a fairly new property.
Their kid’s stand would be
「Love Me Dead」. (Confound all these people making Jojo references, even the concepts are infecting me and I’ve never even watched it.)their kid (s) will be all like
