Yes; a name is a noun.
But I was taking about a person.
A name is a noun that refers to a specific person.
Much like “toast” is a noun that refers to the food, yet the food itself isn’t a word, let alone a noun.
…or something like that.
I’m kinda curious … I haven’t thought that much about it myself.
I would say that a person wouldn’t go into any classification,
a person itself isn’t part of linguistic.
Hmm… you’ve got me there o.o’ I’m not entirely sure, to be honest ^^;
I get that a name is a proper noun,
but would a person be a proper noun?
Technically a proper noun, if one wanted to get technical.
