I never really liked this fic either. Mainly because at the time of it being written, Dash isn’t that dense. They made her straight up retarded.
And it’s Kay, I harbor a huge grudge to the spinoff series. It’s just garbage.
Oh, and for some reason cloud kicker gets her harem even though she was terrible to absolutely all ponies involved.
Yeah, I carry some grudge towards this fic.

That sounds amazing and hilarious. Pinkie keeps putting on the moves for Dash, and Dash doesn’t pick up on it at all.

Qordath’s stories in general all kinda suck. Take it from someone who’s read them all about two years ago, back then when MLD was just completed.
Yes, Cloud Kicker is a blatant Mary Sue whose universe conspires to favor her at nearly every turn, while the latter is practically a carbon clone of the Dresden Files in terms of writing style - including the terrible protagonist and logic and plot holes along with it.
It has other problems, mostly in that those guys quickly fall out of focus in stories not focused on them and the actual stories’ development, but at least Rainbow and Pinkie are still together.
In that case I may read it. Pinkiedash is one of my fave ships.
They get together in the end, and since stories in this universe are still publishing, they’re still together. So, the opposite of unrequited.
Yeah, I find the logic behind the series incredibly stupid and always favorable to Cloud Kicker. It’s annoying. But glad to hear I’m not the only one who has an intense dislike for it as well

In this continuity, Dash just doesn’t care that much about matters of the heart. As such, they’re something of a blind spot for her. It’s not a matter of not paying attention, but one of not even considering the possibility.
I didn’t like this fic either, but the
follow up series is a blast!
About how Pinkie clearly wanted a relationship with Rainbow Dash but Rainbow Dash just thinks Pinkie is just being Pinkie.
The was some rarijack in that fic too.

Does he even watch the show? Dash is very observant usually. For example she can see through Pinkie’s weird hay block disguise instantly, as well as Fluttershy’s attempts to deceive her in Hurricane Fluttershy. If there’s a character that’s out of focus / not attentive, it’s Pinkie aka the other one.
