Looking at the HTML, I can see the errors, and how it would need to be changed to work with standard HTML.
No, it’s formating that does not work at DA. It’s broken there, too. (Just look at it.)
That’s the formatting that works for DeviantArt. If you’re copying text here, you should adapt the formatting so that it displays in the same way, with working links.
This is exacly how the original artist formated the text on Deviant Art. Why should I change it here if it is broken there, too. I assume the artist wants it that way.

Also, read the license the works are distributed under, it is perfectly fine to edit and publish them, but you must release your stuff under the same license
