But they didn’t have to do any cleaning, they chose to help Starlight clean up, I’m not seeing any connection to being servants. It was also in their personal interest to do so (i.e. Applejack’s photos were among the mess and she wanted them back, Fluttershy wanted to make sure the spiders and such were okay and got back to their homes, Pinkie wanted to make a cake in memory of the ruined cakes).
 
Also, I got the implication that you were saying the Mane 5 didn’t remember what they did because this comic opens with saying “after Starlight Glimmer told them what she made them do.” Starlight wouldn’t have had to tell them if they already knew.

Late reply, but no I wasn’t implying they had suffered memory loss-I was showing that they had to change their lifestyles so that they won’t suffer from PTSD like you said.
 
Also, I’m really hoping that none of the Mane 5 ever have to do any cleaning or any of the other things they did while being mind-controlled ever again; they’re Twilight’s friends, not her servants (In fact, has anyone ever wrote a fanfic where Pinkie and Rainbow get revenge on Starlight?).

the commenter was referring to the end of the episode how the Mane 5 were aware of what was happening when they were hypnotized.
 
I think the commenter is confused with the reason why the mane 5 are now afraid of doing their favorite things. I know the point of your comic was that they have some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder… the commenter thought that the comic was implying that the ponies have actually suffered from memory loss

I’m rereading your last sentence, and I still can’t understand it. How would the Mane 5 know what they were doing while being mind-controlled, if they didn’t remember what happened after the spell was broken? Could someone please translate what that commenter was saying?

None of this makes remote sense, Fluttershy loves all animals (aside from adult dragons), not to mention all the ponies remembered just fine what they did, they didn’t need to be told.

Everything points this episode being a subversion of the criminally cliche ‘where am I?’
