she’s equipped the MP+ amulet
I don’t care how much you love Trixie; she’s just not on the level that is either Twilight or Starlight. Both are OP and… well… Trixie’s kind of just an illusionist.
>0x1000 magic
Not in one battle, no. That why ether is kept rare.
You know this is just me, the artist, trying to have a little fun with a different format. You never really run out of mp in these old games anyways.
So I think it’s the reverse. Twilight has an absurd amount of magic pool whereby Starlight has far less.
However, Starlight has a major advantage if the game has a magic mastery progression system. Starlight might unlock higher level spells much faster than Twilight does and because of her mastery, she uses less mana, has shorter cooldown time and if a spell takes usually two turns to charge, Starlight does it instantly.
Preference of using magic does not necessarily translate to having a bigger magic/mana pool. But hey artist appeal is what it is.
Yeah, I see that now. It’s just that at first I thought Glimmer was LvL 13, which would have made Twilight’s stat progression seem intolerably sluggish. Like, bench at first opprotunity stuff.
Then I realized Glimmer is LvL 19, so things weren’t quite as bad.
Twi’s stats are 2/3 of Trixie’s, who has 13 levels on her. Trixie had similar stats at level 20. I shouldn’t have expected anyone to do math.
Like, she’s made of paper!
It’s supported by canon that Starlight prefers using magic to solve all her problems, which is reflected here. She’s an okay character otherwise, best left in the “back row” where she can throw down a few powerful spells and unravel the space-time continuum (oops).
Glass Cannon?
No excuses! They’ll be dead weight if they continue like this.
It’s not their fault, Trixie soloed the last few bosses while they were out of the party!
