Seriously people, I highly doubt RD’s wings are actually robotic. They still use medieval armor, for Pete’s sakes!
We don’t have magical pegasi bodies we can plug prosthetic wing replacements onto, either. The pegasi magic mostly likely does all the real work, and all the wing needs is structure.
I looked at them again. They are still nothing more advanced than what we in the real world can make, and we can’t make a functional prosthetic wing.
Just because we haven’t seen them doesn’t mean that tech is not advanced enough. Look at the images again.
I don’t see any images where ponies have created working replacement wings in non-Sombra timelines, just propeller craft. Pinkie’s old gyrocopter, too.
