Being older than the median brony, I always get a chuckle out of people who think pony fandom is somehow especially weird or kinky. It’s been the same as long as there have been people defining themselves as fans of something. :)

Agreed. I mean sure her outfit is a bit risqué, (so is “Shantae’s,” but gamers still respect her, and she’s not “easy,” or a tramp, or anything) but I always see Bloom & the CMC as kinda innocent, so I’d hate for “Apple Bloomers” become another typical fan-service, pr0ny, or shippy thing. (Those are done on almost every “Ask Pony” tumblr, fan animation, and such. It’s getting overdone.)
 
I think this fan animation here is the best interpretation of “Apple Bloomers” and exactly how it should be. Cute, funny, action-y, well done, and rife with anime satire.

Honestly, I would have loved it if people continued Apple Bloomers as a thing, like a comic or animation series, that didn’t end up becoming porn or NSFW.
