No, inspiration is not what linked the mane 6’s destinies, most of them hadn’t even met each other and NONE of them inspired each other, IT WAS THE RAINBOOM WHICH CAUSED THEM TO GET THEIR CUTIE MARKS ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Did cheese sandwich get his cutie mark from the rainboom? NO!

She was literally the one who inspired him to achieve his cutie mark (‘It’s got to be my destiny’ and whatnot. Don’t make me sing. :V This kind of thing was established as linking characters by destiny way back in Cutie Mark Chronicles) and in return, gave her her rainbow key item.
I am not ignoring that, but what does that have to do with their destinies supposedly being intertwined? Those two things you stated have little to do with each other.
I’m going to assume you’re just being facetious instead of being stupid re; ignoring the fact that cutie marks are pretty much literally manifested destiny.

Should have used Silver Shill as your example, since Coco’s destiny really does seem intertwined(non-romantically) with Rarity’s. Rarity got her a new job after she quit Suri, she and AJ helped Coco revive the neighborhood theater festival, and now she works for Rarity at her Manehattan store.
Silver Shill we haven’t seen since season 4.
By that logic, coco pommel’s destiny is intertwined with rarity. The ponies who give them the keys are all random ponies who just happen to need to learn something from each of the mane six and who help the mane six work to maintain the spirit of their element.

Cheese and Pinkie had intertwined destinies as well as shared interests and compatible personalities. People shipped them because he’s one of a very small number of ponies and even smaller number of colts who genuinely seem to match with her.
