@Zahnrad
Heck the theory has been put forward with the Team Fortress 2 characters is that they are actually clones continually remained for battle, that they’re guinea pigs for some government experiment, and this at least partly explains why the members of both team are pretty much the same apart from the color of their clothes.
@Zahnrad
I made that point mostly for the fact that for games like League of Legends and Overwatch, one of the things I find most interesting about the games is their large cast of characters and how many of them are actually very interesting characters with engaging backstories.

This is something you don’t really see with Team Fortress 2, it’s more of just a silly game with comedic characters were the battles can get very chaotic.

The one thing I should know is actually like Team Fortress 2, at least I can fill it can be very enjoyable seeing what others can make and the characters can be fun to watch. I admit though the one time I actually tried to play the game, I realized it was a bit too chaotic and maybe confusingly fast paced to get into it.
@EquestrianScholar
“How many characters does Overwatch have? Now how many characters does Team Fortress 2 have? One last question, which may or may not be an important one in the minds of many, but which one takes itself more seriously?”

When an argument between two games comes down to how many characters one has, you know you’ve hit a new low. My comment was just awful banter at a rival.

When comes to video games, and media in general, while a more comedic take can be amusing and ‘fun’… I have found a more serious game with complex characters and stories to be better all around. For example, tv wise, why Teen Titans is superior to Teen Titans Go.

Yet this can also be taken too far, such as the Dawn of Justice, which of the movie I very much do not like, which suffers from Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy. Mattering the genre, intended audience, and overall intent of the story being presented. I feel one needs to strike a good balance between drama and comedy, or even how serious or silly it should be.
With those colors, I pray we’ll see lots of Harlem Globetrotters references. I mean, ‘trotters’ is already such a perfect horse reference!
