This is my version of Suicide Squad. (Haven’t seen the movie yet.)
Princess Bubblegum is Amanda Waller (They both have an “ends justify the means” mindset).
Finn is Rick Flagg (They are the right hand man of a female leader).
Jack is Katana (They have a samurai code of honor).
Sniper is Deadshot (They are both expert marksman as well as mercenaries).
Pinkamena Diane Pie is Harley Quinn (They are both perky, cute, and crazy that hide a dark side).
Garble is Killer Croc (They are reptilian and have a hatred for those not of their kind.)
Flame Princess is El Diablo (They have fire powers and their emotions affect their powers).
Lightning Dust is Captain Boomerang (They are both selfish jerks who would leave their own to die.)

I think they did it to spite Fox the same way they too Fantastic Four out back, which really sucks.
Marvel in a whole is beginning to suck with changing characters, getting rid of established ones and replacing them, shitting on fans and pandering to groups that don’t even buy comics.

Lightning Dust is a character that was in Season 3 Episode 7, Wonderbolts Academy.
I should really re-watch season 3. I have it on DVD and the seasons pretty short.

Too bad Marvel killed the X-men and mutants all together.
