Yes. Technically. Not even just coocked.
Plants are living things and they do “die” when they’re picked but very very slowly (and if one eats it freshly picked, he’s technically eating it alive). We don’t feel grossed out by it or feel any empathy for them simply because they aren’t like us in any way, shape or form (unlike animals, which we are).
